World AIDS DAY 2015
The Malaysian AIDS Council (MAC) and Malaysian AIDS Foundation (MAF) are pleased to invite Rumah Solehah to the World AIDS Day 2015 event, organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, Yayasan Sime Darby and other partners. Commemorating the launch of the "Ending AIDS by 2030" campaign, the event will be held as follows.
Date: Sunday, 20 December 2015
Time: 10 am - 10 pm
Venue: The Strand Kota Damansara (Red Carpet Avenue)
A launch ceremony, featuring stage appearances by our Red Ribbon Celebrity Supporters Fahrin Ahmad, Joey G, Patricia K, Kaka Azraff and Bob Yusof, will kick off the one-day affair, happening between 10 am - 12 pm.
Other highlights include:
- Charity bazaar presented by Vendeur Festival comprising 40 sales and exhibition booths, including celebrity vendors Aaron Aziz, Fahrin Ahmad, Datin Paduka Umie Aida and Betty Rahmad
- Anonymous HIV testing and counseling by PT Foundation Community Health Care Centre
- Stage performances,
- Fun interactive games and exhibitions
Rumah Solehah took this golden opportunity to share knowledge about caring women & children with HIV as well as encouraging entrepeneurship among the residents. The children of Rumah Solehah came out with few amazing handicrafts on that day. The audience love to see how the children were empowered to present their products & enterprising skills.
